My name is Avril Hertenky and I am the author of two books. I am looking to raise $3,000 which will contribute towards the publication of my third book, For Deaf Kids: Know Your Rights.
This past year, I wrote and published a book called What Is Language Deprivation. Some copies of this book were donated to libraries, schools for the Deaf, and Deaf children. This book is available for purchase on Amazon so that you can get an idea of how the book is written for Deaf children. This book is not for profit.
I am encouraging you to join me in showing these young Deaf children their rights. My current fundraising effort is for a new book. We will donate copies of this book to schools for the Deaf and Deaf children. Additionally, copies will be available for purchase by adults outside the schools.
Hearing teachers and parents are teaching Deaf children that they are inferior to their hearing peers; this book will help them realize that they have the same rights as their hearing peers. Please help me and my project by supporting my request. Are you willing to contribute to the publication of this book?
You can reach me at avrilhertneky@gmail.com if you would like to learn more about my project. Any questions or information you need, I will be happy to provide.
I appreciate your contribution in advance. It means the world to the Deaf children to have your support.
Your donation can be sent to GoFundme, or you can contact me to arrange another donation method.
